Motion wished to create a product that leveraged friendly accountability to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Working alongside the founding team I helped define the product strategy and brand framework to support the ambition.
Through rapid iteration I designed an MVP that leveraged challenges, activity tracking and a social feed to begin gathering insight to what might motivate people to get active.

To build momentum Motion needed to tap into a community of like minded people. A friction point was users where loyal to a wide range of existing wearables and apps.
To enable collective accountability, Motion would become a hub for all activities, automatically syncing to Apple Health, meaning everyones events where in one place automatically.
The platform would make it easy for friends to celebrate wins together and in doing so keeping each other accountable and supporting sustainable growth.

Building on the lessons learned from the early prototype, the latest version of Motion evolved into its present day incarnation which is now enjoyed by thousands of users and is ranked in the top ten fitness app on the app store.
